Recruitment and Induction Process

Streamlined Steps for Hiring and Integrating Top Talent

Initial Application

Pre-screening

Once we receive your application, we will give you a call to go through your information with you.

Face-to-face Interview

If pre-screening is completed successfully, you will be invited into your local Team24 Care office or via teams for an interview with a member of the recruitment team. We will go through the role that you have applied for and the work we have to offer, the benefits of working for Team24 Care, your skills and experience and your requirements for work. If you are happy and want to progress, we will require all the information listed to the right. While we are waiting for your references and DBS to come back, we will put you forward for your induction training.

Training

All Team24 Care staff receive free online mandatory training that meets Care Certificate induction standards. If you have existing valid training certificates, please inform a member of our recruitment team. Our training is conducted online and face to face. You will receive a link to complete it at your convenience. It is mandatory to complete the training before starting any shifts. Moreover, we are required to renew the training annually to ensure that we remain compliant. Every staff member is provided with a handbook that elaborates on our policies and procedures, called the Team24 Care Handbook. Once you have completed training, we can issue your Team24 Care badge!

Our Senior Support Worker positions play a crucial role in our team, contributing significantly to the delivery of support that priorities the needs and ambitions of the service users. The responsibilities associated with this role include.

Planning

  • Coordinating care & support – working with service users to ensure the best outcomes
  • Supporting admin – helping Field Care Supervisors with medication, finance, health & safety
  • Upholding our quality standards – in everything we do

Team building

  • Communicating effectively – keeping in touch with service users and the wider team
  • Building great relationships – organising, planning & leading team meetings
  • Mentoring & supporting – being a role model to team & service users

Personal Care

  • Promoting dignity, self-esteem and choice – treating service users as individuals
  • Helping service users reach their goals – developing a plan
  • Assisting with personal care needs – washing, dressing, cooking & shopping
  • Administering medication – undertaking medication training
The care provided is not expected to include tasks that would normally be expected to be undertaken by a trained nurse.
