Physical Disabilities & Epilepsy Support

Physical Disabilities & Epilepsy Support

Living with physical disabilities and epilepsy can pose lifelong challenges, yet many individuals continue to lead active and fulfilling lives. We recognise that these conditions can present a broad spectrum of physical and emotional hurdles, impacting an individual’s ability to perform everyday tasks, foster connections, and participate within their community.

We are deeply committed to working collaboratively with individuals, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure that our support seamlessly aligns with their unique routines and needs. Our dedicated staff members are not only experienced, but also deeply passionate about providing tailored support to those with complex needs. Their specialised training equips them with the knowledge and skills necessary to address a range of requirements, including physical disabilities, epilepsy and other neurological conditions, as well as difficulties related to eating, drinking, and breathing.

We regularly conduct comprehensive evaluations to ensure that our services effectively cater to the needs of the individuals we support. Identifying any shifts in health or needs, we act swiftly to ensure open communication with all involved parties. We advocate for individuals to access the necessary equipment that fosters independence, and we continuously enhance the expertise of our staff through additional training focused on meeting the diverse needs of our clients, such as peg feeding, epilepsy and rescue medication, and oxygen therapy, among others. These measures enable those we support to continue living at home without requiring admission to nursing care.

We approach each person through the lens of their abilities, not their disabilities, striving to break down barriers, overcome challenges, and empower individuals to lead healthy and meaningful lives within their communities.
