Outreach Support
I understand how important it is to have reliable support and take breaks when caring for a child or loved one with a learning disability.
Over the months, we have been privileged to support many families in similar situations. Our goal is to support individuals living at home, fostering greater independence and reducing the family’s caregiving burden. We believe this can strengthen family bonds as we step in to assist, allowing the individual to build their skills and connections outside the family unit.
We offer various forms of support, from a few hours a week to provide parents with time for themselves to day trips and longer breaks to give families a chance to recharge. We work closely with each family to create a comprehensive support plan that considers routines and specific needs, aiming to provide a consistent and reliable source of respite support throughout the year.
Our outreach support is recognised and funded by local authorities and Clinical Commissioning Groups, and we are committed to working with individuals funded by direct payments, individual service funds, or personal budgets.
